A Warm Welcome
Counselling may be the next step you’ve considered in getting some support. Perhaps you’re looking for someone to really hear and understand you. You might not be sure what you need but feel stuck and want things to change in your life. You might be trying to navigate a difficult time or transition in your life around relationships, identity, health, work or bereavement. I hope to offer this safe and supportive space to you through my counselling services.
About the service
As your counsellor, I'd be committed to offering you a supportive and safe space where you can explore what might be troubling you; whether that's exploring difficulties rooted in the past that are impacting you day to day or a current issue that might be on your mind.
Your emotions and experiences are the focus of our sessions. I will listen without judgement or agenda and endeavour to understand the world as you see it. I do this by building an open, trusting, authentic relationship so that you feel seen and heard. It's my belief that this helps you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your past, heal emotional wounds and empower you to foster healthier relationships with yourself and others.

Commitment to Care
My practice is centered on providing a safe and welcoming environment. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can be seen, heard and authentically accepted for who they are and a recognition of what they may have been through.
ABOUT ME
Rebecca Zamora
With over ten years of experience in dedicated supporting roles, I care deeply about empowering people through listening and authentic connection.
My counselling practice is built on fostering open, genuine relationships with my clients, allowing them to truly be themselves; firstly as they're held in our sessions but slowly as time passes and our work together progresses, accepting themselves for who they are are, what has led them here and how they want to move through the world after our sessions. I have witnessed first-hand, personally and through my professional practice, the transformative power of being truly seen and heard in this way.
I have extensive experience working with adults and young people, including those navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, bereavement, ADHD diagnosis or life-limiting illnesses. I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, an MBACP Registered Member, and I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
My Approach
Integrative Methods
By combining various therapeutic modalities, I offer a holistic perspective that addresses the root causes of your challenges by reflecting on the past, noticing the here and now and exploring what the future might look like.
When it might be difficult to put feelings into words, I often offer creative tools to help with emotional expression.
Person-Centred Focus
The focus of our sessions is you and your world. You can bring whatever might be on your mind and we can explore it together within a safe, open space.
It is my belief that we all have an innate capacity for growth and change and through our work together, you can feel empowered to not only cope with life's challenges but foster positive change in your life.
Safe Space
My practice is built on trust and confidentiality, providing a supportive environment where you can be completely yourself.
It can be difficult to open up to someone new and this can take time as we build our relationship so we'll go at your own pace.
As a registered member of the BACP, my professional practice is underpinned by their ethical framework which ensures your safety and my accountability to provide this to all clients.
